Hi! My name is Karin and I’m originally from Indonesia, but I’ve been living in the UK for the past seven years.

By day I work full time helping university students and by night and most weekends, I usually bury myself in romance books or writing possessive, hot as sin book boyfriends.

When I’m not reading or writing, you can find me walking and playing with my Labrador, baking something sweet, and binge-watching sitcoms.

Daydreaming about romance/love is something I’ve always love to do since I was a kid. I used to write down my idea in class or while doing homework, but I never imagined I’d actually write a romance novel—especially with my insecurities with grammar and writing in English. It wasn’t until university when I discovered how much I loved writing.

So, I thought… why not?

Writing my first book has been the most fun, yet challenging, and scariest thing I’ve ever done but I’ve loved every minute of it. From giggling while typing, to blushing at certain scenes, to bawling my eyes out—the journey has definitely been unforgettable. So, I just want to thank you again for reading Forged in Flames!
